What we collect

CrewLog collects the information needed to run your workspace: employee names, contact info (email/phone) if provided, job entries (customer name, address, GPS location if you use it, equipment/parts logged, hours worked), and account credentials (stored as salted hashes — we never store PINs or passwords in plain text). If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and Google account identifier from Google.

How we use it

Data is used solely to operate CrewLog for your company: authenticating workers, recording and reporting time entries, sending the notification emails you’ve opted into (password resets, weekly approval summaries, admin reminders), and processing subscription billing through Stripe.

Data isolation

Every company using CrewLog has its own private workspace. Data is never shared or visible across companies — your crew can only see your workspace’s data.

Third parties

We use Stripe for payment processing, Resend for transactional email delivery, and (optionally, per employee) Google Sign-In for authentication. Each of these providers processes only the data necessary to perform their function and maintains their own privacy practices.

Data retention & deletion

We retain workspace data for as long as your account is active. Contact us to request deletion of your workspace and its data.
