From job costing to invoice

Invoice draft export

Once a job’s cost-code phases have an estimated revenue figure, CrewLog can generate an invoice draft itemized by phase — ready to hand to your own invoicing or accounting tool.

What it helps you do

Itemized by phase

Each priced cost-code phase becomes its own line item, falling back to a single job-total line when phases aren’t priced individually.

CSV or PDF

Export a plain CSV for import elsewhere, or a formatted PDF with your workspace logo for a customer-ready document.

No fabricated numbers

The draft only ever reflects revenue figures you’ve actually entered — it never invents a billing rate.

The CrewLog workflow

1

Price the job

Set an estimated revenue figure at the job level, or per cost-code phase for an itemized draft.

2

Generate the draft

From the job detail page, download as CSV or PDF.

3

Hand it off

Use the draft as the basis for the invoice you send through your own accounting system.

Product boundary: This is a draft export, not a live QuickBooks Online invoice push — CrewLog doesn’t track a customer billing rate distinct from estimated job revenue.
